in the last few games...spain (favourites??) beaten....france all but out.....germany loosing.....england under pressure. is western european football with all its money really that good?? the 'latin' teams seem way ahead. so here's a poll. with apologies to the scots

So is Brazil faring any better I think Not. Mexico is pretty keen granted with the class players that Argintina have. But could it be that ALL countries are getting closer to the same standards I think there is not a lot of differene between the next 20 afyter England personally.

Germany played well today that ref was the worst i ever seen i bet he wont ref in another game in the world cup he was that bad

 

 

France are a joke a proper manager they would do better

 

 

Chile in the first game played well they have a few classy players if they get through they will give a big team a fright

 

England need to go with 5 in the middle and play gerrard behind Rooney also play Joe Cole if the big man is playing up front they will try play the long ball

the problem is that we're not as good as we think we are....the money and 'imports' are destroying the game.

We -GB - have footballing academies all over the place. Tution in the school holidays etc. etc. Night schooling.

Parents are warned constantly to button their' lips and stop trying to 'manage / Argue etc.

Indeed I hear they will be getting red cards, or kids no longer being accepted.

Seems that that is the first obstacle these shores have to take into hand and squash... Likewise the parents bad mouthing and threathening Refs.

So twofold purposes are in hand to have the youngsters reaching a high standard.

Yes a lot is being geared for the Olympics etc. too.

No the europeans players aren't lacking compared to the South Americans / Africans etc. Just being spoilt from an early age via ignorant parents. Seems there are high hopes for our nations when they are curtailed from setting such bad quide lines on impressionable kids.
