If it has a safe roosting spot and you are feeding it, chances are it will hang around, when it gets a fright or it gets stronger it will move on i'm sure.

If the ring number is SU09F61, Then this is my bird which I lost from Kirkliston on 27/07/09 while training as a youngsterhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

so that is almost a year it has been missinghttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

yes, if it is SU09F67 then I lost this one at The SNFC Young bird national from Leicester September 2009http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

If it,s 67, and I get it back, I will time it in, will I still make the national result?http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

Certainly no offence intended m8, as said a bit of fun, is the ring a red one? and does the bird have a big green ring on it,s other leg?

Thank you very much, the reason I ask the colour, is I am a bit surprised that a bird I lost from Leicester last September, can possibly be just over the Forth from it,s homehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif however, stranger things have happenedhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

seen its over the forth it must be a channel pigeon so think you should pay £200 reward for it now :P:P:P:P

better just giving the person your phone number so if he does catch it he can let you know, as not much you can do at the moment really,

I agree that this would be the best way, however, since I can,t pm a guest, and I do not wish to put my personal phone number on an open site, this is not an option. I will wait to see what happens, the bird has been living wild(I assume) for almost a year now, so that may be the outcome, but thanks to the person who has reported ithttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif
