However, I have to say I have lost all interest in Lee's sales etc. Regardless of any reason that may be forthcoming, or put forward as to his actions regarding Gooners 'Moving Sale'as I feel there isn't the charactor displayed, or put up via lee that motivates any trust. If I'm wrong, then I'd apoligise, but shalln't be holding my breathe.
Guest lee duffy Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 are you for real bob the site was down for ages oh and it was ok for you to bid on one of mine when you were selling your sons birds and then cancel.when i came back on here after the long time the site was not on i hadint a clue how to use it so went onto chat only came back on through email i got from someone on this topic.anyway bob you lied aswell you were not giving them for afew weeks untill you bred of them dont see that writen anywhere on the sale and then you have the cheek to ask for the money within 7 days get a grip bob.sure you let another lad down to said if they dont sell you can have them for price aranged certin few he was interested in so you agreed then you got a better price on pm and told him he was not getting them someone pm you with better offer very nice of you bob man of your word.

Excuse me mate, YOU told me twice, via pm,(which I have kept) that you had sent the money, long before the site went down, and when I told you it had still not been received you said you would look into it. You were given my sons address and telephone number in order to send the payment, so why didn't you contact him, by mail or a phone call. Don't use the site being down as an excuse. Yes when the birds were up for sale, I politely informed you while the sale was active, that they wouldn't be available for a fortnight after the sale had finished, as they were still feeding youngsters at my sons place. So NO LIES WERE TOLD, and I had the decency to keep you informed. Incidentally it was not a cheek to ask for payment within 7 days, as you have proved the reason why that request was made, by not paying, so you "get a grip" On the question of me making a bid on one of your lots, yes I did, but I also had the decency to ask if I could withdraw my pm bid for your bird, (which you agreed to, pms kept) while your sale for that bird was still active, not after it had finished, so you still had chance to sell it. FACT mate. On the topic of letting someone else down with birds in my sons sale. The person in question offered to pay less for them than the starting price during the sale, if they weren't sold. If he wanted them that bad, he should have put a bid in for them lots, like everyone else did in that sale, instead of trying to do a deal. (All communication is there to see on the thread, and pm's kept. I like to cover my @r$e against all eventualities). Yes they were sold privately after the sale had finished and NOT via pm on this site or any other site, as you suggest. This was all explained to the person in question at the time. So on this issue I will give you the same answer you gave Roland's comment on this thread "None of your business". PS could this other person be you as you seem to know so much about what was said in pm Just a thought.
Guest lee duffy Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) look bob im sorry i shouldnt have wrote that stuff i was just hacked of when seen what ypou wrote but you had a right.oh and no bob not me i happiend to be online when he was giving out about not getting the birds and he wrote an essay on the thread. the problum was i sent money to two diffrent people at same time i put manchester on yours and norfolk on his.then the site went down and i diddint wanna resend incase you sell them to someone else it only had should be down for 24 hours.that didint happin. anyway all excuses aside my fault 100% precent and i apologise to you Edited May 14, 2010 by pigeonpete swearing

In my original post, on this thread, I was also expressing an opinion, with a valid reason for doing so. The man has apologised, so I accept his apology.
