Guest marvin Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 thanks for those suggestions lads i will have a look
Mike Lycett Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Marvin I get our stuff from www.vetproductsonline.co.za Click on Birds/Poultry then click on Antibiotics. There's all sorts of stuff there & bottle of canker (tablets & liquid) costs about £3.00 Don't get using the Baytril for canker - you'll cause more issues than you solve ! Mike
Blue Chequer Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Ask someone who is going on holiday to Spain to pop into the local chemists shop and buy some Flagyl for (Thrush) a quarter tablet a couple of days apart and that will sort out the Canker. Baytril is definately a big NO NO for me and I don't think it would have sorted the problem anyway.
Mike Lycett Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Agree re: Flagyl.. The only thing I'd say is that its best to rotate the treatments. i.e. carnidazole based, metronidazole etc... Mike
Deano Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I agree mike I also think ridzol is beneficial.
Mike Lycett Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Deano - Perfectly true - especially efficient when used in rotation though
