I am injecting my Young birds this weekend and i inject into the back of the neck.I find that the easiest way.

scraper every time for me like.pigeons gain confidence when your around them scraping out.this year i scrape out every two days spray the floor and a light covering of sand.

Started when I was ten in 1998 with my grandad.went into partnership 2000.had a year out last year but now im back and have got a team of young birds on my own.

A fancier once told me that healthy pigeons dont stop eating when they are hungry they just carry on eating.so I always follow the rule that when 1 in 5 birds go for a drink then they've had enough. ie if u have 20 birds when 4 have been to the drinker they've had enough. Also when they start to leave barley in the bottom of the trough they have had enough. Hope this helps

I agree peterpau.theres no reason to stop racing apart from the exclusion zone.I dont see the point in stopping racing as its the wild birds that are spreading this disease.

Red cell is very beneficial if given correctly.Red bull is crazy.It only gives you a short energy lift ,No good for pigeons!

Dont forget though mark good pigeons will always come out on top.you cant make a bad pigeon into a champion!

I work 8 till 4 30 so i darken them at 5 on a night until 7am.they will still go through the moult ok as long as theres more darkness hours than light.

I use Naturaline in the water.Initially for seven days then once or twice a week.very good for the respiratory,digestive and urinary tracts.Also very good for Young birds.
