Not sent - forecast not clever ono ur line of flight & I've no faith in those calling the shots. do something about it then mike, how can you race your pigeons every week or not send if you dont trust the race controllers/convoyer not a good way to run a fed if they are that bad. tomo

Guest Doostalker Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 Renfrewshire Fed at Scotch Corner this week. This will be a third time lucky job. No race last weekend from Ripon and week before that brought back from Scotch Corner on the Saturday. Fed had to rejig whole programme, and if we don't get a race this week it will be really problematic getting the programme finished. Good luck to everyone who is flying this weekend.

I was p!ssed off about it before so I did the Race Controllers job myself in 2004 and 2005 before I got sacked. My crime? 1st YB Fed race of the season on a 50-50 day & I refused to loose em when everybody else did & had crap races. They can bugger off, but i'll send my pigeons when & where I feel we'll get decent racing. I'd like to move Fed's - thep roblem is most of em in the Midlands are all cowboys. They hardly ever hold em
Mike Lycett Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 Exeter by the way - not Yelverton. Will have a day with wife & kids instead & turn me mobile off. Always got MCC and MNFC in the next fortnight
GREENGRASS Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 Glasgow Federation are at Pontefract with South Lanarkshire Fed, weather looks like it might be a bit of a mixed bag so fingers crossed and good luck to everyone racing this weekend.

They hardly ever hold em come and race in yorkshire with our fed mike im not saying we always get it right but our number one priority is the pigeons and not what the members think without the birds going you havent got a fed. most members feel we have done a good job over the the last 4 weeks of bad weather but you always get your knockers they/we know who they are then its i havent said that not me but no one else wants to do the job.
