does any one know where u can buy those aluminium crates or that aluminium roof rack box for transporting pigeons?

My friend has been much involved with the new NFC transporter. What you after, he has been busy supplying much of the kit for a lot of the major clubs / feds

I think they are made to order in Germany ? I have seen the roof rack one - very good but very expensive - over £400 for one holding just 30 pigeons, that particular one was ordered at Blackpool Show and not by me ( so no begging letters please.. ;D)

HI MATTHEW,THE AGENT FOR GERALDY IN THE U.K.IS ROGER HOWLAND FROM PETERBOROUGH TEL.01733232714,THE ROOF TOP BOX IS £380.AND AS 4 CONTAINERS INSIDE IT WHICH HOLDS 60 PIGEONS IN TOTAL, WAS ALL SET TO ORDER ONE MYSELF AFTER SEEING THEM AT BLACKPOOL BUT CHANGED ME MIND AT THE LAST MINUTE.IT,S BEST FITTED TO AN ESTATE CAR,BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A ROOF RACK OR BARS ALLREADY FITTED.HOPE THIS IS OF SOME HELP.

Hi Rose. I've never been to Blackpool, so I can't tell you what is different. What I do know is my friends company were called in, and changed the whole design. I believe Geraldy were also looked at. However I believe they were thought to be not as good as those that are fabricated locally. He has been in BHW write up for the NFC. A fed from I believe Shefield had a super transporter in the BHW. To me it looked state of art. The one I refer to had half gull wings and the bottom half doubled as a loading platform with a safety rail round it . This I am told was just another £4000. Looks to me that the NFC made a poor choice in not  having this. What I would say is if anyone is looking for this sort of kit. Don't be short sighted look long and hard. The crates we had fitted to our transporter about 5 years ago are at least as good as Geraldy. I think it would be safe to say Warwickshire fed have never had racing so good.
