ribble Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 don't be so hasty, have a word with your club sec it could be a simple mistake. keep your chin up and use this experience as a form of motivation and loose your novice tittle next season.

jimmy white Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 hi mac i sorry to here youve had that wee bit bother, but as the days tick by youll soon get over this ,, maybe a genuine mistake that can easily be resolved ,,, youve done too much work with the birds to throw them away like that , and beleive me you would regret it,, so best with chin up , and make up your mind to try and beat them all next year and the best of luck to you :)

square_peg Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 if you have a complaint that is not sorted out on a verbal basis, put it in writing, that way sec and club president HAVE to respond .if there are more than you who are not happy ,then ALL complain ,and if need be ALL put it in writing.
THE FIFER Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 if you have a complaint that is not sorted out on a verbal basis, put it in writing, that way sec and club president HAVE to respond .if there are more than you who are not happy ,then ALL complain ,and if need be ALL put it in writing. this is the proper way. and if ur not happy with their decission go to ure fed, where u from. not ure club but what part of the country.
davebuttle Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Like they say Mac put it in writing, say that you are not happy and want an explanition of points to pounds breakdown. And if you get no joy go to the: Mr R Porter, 01740 651256 (sec durham combine) or North of England Homing Union Mr David Power, Secretary 58 Ennerdale Road Walker Dean Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 4D...
THE FIFER Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 county durham fifer get ur club delegates to bring it up with ur fed. if they are loyal they will not let it go. but remember u only have so long to put in an objection,
REDCHEQHEN Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 hi just been to my pigeon do,im a novice in the club this season i won one 6th and 7th and 6 nomi points and the money i got is totaly wrong as the nomi points are 10 pound in our club and the money i got is no wher near that.(not just me that got robbed)so i hav decided to call it a day with pigeons the other members cudnt beleive how much i got.so if anyone wants pigeons for cheap give me a shout.thanks Are you sure you know your payout system - no disrespect, but we didn't know our fed payout system or even the fed points system until this year ( our third) and the first time we got money !! ;D That wasn't much either Our club only pays out 50p for 6th -10th places The fed pays out on first 4 fed positions, points on first 12 positions and cards on first 20 positions. I think all clubs and feds seem to differ, even in the same organisation. When you say 6 nomi points - does that mean you were 1st nominated pigeon back, 6 times?
Guest Paulo Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 its not just the money its the hard work ive put in.i had i word with the sec hes a bit ignorant.its not the first time hes been like this to me. chin up you get fools in every pigeon club just think about the good times with the birds. I hate our chairman he's tried to victimise me over a argument we had that he started by goading me plus with politics he has a lot of friends but best thing to do is take no notice of them. After all you only have to go to the club for basketing so just ignore him. Pigeon racing is full of politics always has been and always will be. My problem is I've never been a yes man and find it hard to ignore fools but lifes too short to get upset. Just concentrate on beating them with the birds and if in doubt go and see the fed sec or nehu a lot of pigeon clubs are full of jumped up little dictitors who think they can do what they like with out any regard to the rules. I know of a few times clubs have been embarresed by doing something totally ilegal like deneying membership etc and the union has made them toe the line and follow the correct lines and procedures. Pigeon racing is unforeturely like the rest of life he who shouts the loudest or talks enough crap gets their own way no wonder its a dying sport. I hate politics and my advice based on hard experience this last couple of weeks is don't get involved enjoy the birds, and listen you'll be surprised how much you learn and tell them nowt. Not saying all pigeon people are bad but its amazing how you get stabbed in the back by people who you thought were your mates.
