Guest Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Use a bit of forethought when you're ringing your birds Paulo, you don't know what the weather is going to be on race day, I personally would ring a bird who's family have done well in tough conditions in case you get a headwind race
Guest Paulo Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 thanks linda going to be a bit hard at the minute with having never raced going to put one ring on a young un bred off a pair of dark busschaerts I've got off stevebelbin and god knows about what the other ring is going on.
Guest Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Have a word with Steve, he'll be able to fill you in on the family history

REDCHEQHEN Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 We didn't have one head wind in the young bird races this year, one west, two South East and the rest South West, I think we had 4 old bird races with Northerly winds, weather is changing in the UK. Oh yes, and we will be getting two rings !
