people who "run" pigeon racing(generally speaking) are the scum of the earth, try and join a club with decent members and decent club officials who will shake your hand when you have timed a decent doo from a hard race (and mean it) they are the type of people who will keep doo racing going it is not really any more complicated than that trust me I speak from experience!!

yes get them lettered that u are going to appeal on the grounds of rule 174, and i think if the witnesses dont come forward they are not much of pigeonmen, also if u can prove that u payed the treasurer then he should be suspended, as what did he do with the money if u paid him, and if the other officials new u had paid they will be the ones not racing, the thing worring me is were any of the witnesses at the agm, if so why didn't they speak up.

simply because i suspect its them that want me out of club , i was informed today that the members that said they saw me pay have been not available  cossa work comitments

, i am so pissed off that they would do this , if they want me out club then say so but dont make it so i cant fly anywhere , bunch of b ------ds

:-/well just check the balance sheet for 2006 :-/ the one ya should have for ya club  when thay had the AGM>  all memebers should have one  even if thay did not attened the meeting. if all been signed, checked over, & all the club memebers agree  that the balance is correct. ok then ya payed, :-/ cause that should show any outstanding debts owed to ya club, or member,& should not be signed if outstanding payments for that year are not payed, :-/ the sheet will not tally up  it would show a outstanding paying ie your fees :-/ no been payed just a thought Rick  mate   :-/ :-/ Speck

Put the name and address of your sect on this site then we can all write them a letter, the most important thing is getting the ban lifted as you will not be able to fly in any club with hanging over your head.

how much do they say u owe rick?...if its a small fee then pay it under protest, and ask for an inquiry where ur payment went....at least ur be able to race this season even though u know u paid wot u did,...through experience in my club i always now ask for a reciept off the treasurer b4 any money changes hands.

although it may seem obvious for the treasurer to give u a reciept , u must also realise that its also easy for him/her to forget if theres a lot going on around him/her.

all the best in sorting it out m8...most of us are behind u.... me thinks.....paul :)

was what u owe showing on the balance sheet, if not someone has questions to answer, and if it did the treasurer has to answer what happened to the money u say u paid him,

i think ME u are a bit out of order with ur bit about people who run pigeon racing, there are a lot of good people in the fancy and if it was'nt for them we would not be racing pigeons, if any organisation has officials like u describe then its the fault of the members they put them where they are,

there are more delegates than officials so must out-say the officials, and delegates should be instructed by their members what to do so officials only have the power the are given by the members, delegates are MESSENGERS. for the members, but if they are allowed to go to meetings and do as they want this is how we get the problem, but that's the fault of the members not the delegates or officials, when it comes too fficials in organisations u are only talking about 4 in number how can they boss any organisation, unless the organisation lets them, lets be real its the fault of the members if they are, and that goes for any organisation,

Specks right rick the balance sheet also if they say they sent you recorded delivery letter which you have to do under the rules ask them to get a proof of posting certificate if you didnt get any letter and didnt sign for it I dont think there is anything they can do about it because they havent followed the rules properly are you under the southern region?

no it wasnt on the balance sheet as they never put it on it , i was told i would get  receipt after they sorted money out wich i never received ,  also while i was out my partner signed for a letter  and forgot to tell me  until last night when i contacted the club .

Dont fall for it Rick. If you give them your resiganation now and pay them again you'll have to pay this years fees on top as your AGM has passed,

they cant ask for your resignation they will have to take you to region for the money.i would personally take them to region..stating in aletter who witnessed the transaction. i do hope they minuted all their actions against or they are out of order and it will be thrown out of region...

best of luck with your cause fella

Ask the RPRA if they paid your RPRA FEES through... probably you didn't I'm a guessing.

So the first thing you do is put an appeal into the RPRA. OK it's obvious that you should pay all fees due, or you are a defaulter. BUT that isn't the case if A. they haven't informed you, both verbally and then TWICE by post or post but HAND in front of witnesses. So you can't be classed as a defaulter! They can NOIT BANN you without written reasons why and you have been given time to reply. So no mucker they can't make rules up to suit and as they haven't obviously, been in touch PRIOR to the first race, because you would not be allowed to fly a pigeon ANYWHERE if you owe subs and are a defaulter. So no you aren't banned, and I have no doubt whatsoever the regional RPRA will uphold your appeal. Go for it... if you don't they may spread a fickle net to entwine the flipping Rat's tail! THEY have to go through the procedures matey and that is both verbal and written and each step has to be decided by the MEMBERS who can vote to instruct the Sec to take action.

So no you aren’t banned and are entitled to an apology to boot.

Take them to the region, by rights you should have a registered letter informing you of non payment and you have 7 days to pay up or they will notify the region. I believe only the region can suspend you

I hope the minutes will have who proposed and seconded on ALL the proceedural practises. It has to be recorded. So the Reginal RPRA will want to see the proof thereof af them too!

I'd take them all the way... then Tell them that you wish to change your Full Flying membership to a non flying Honary member. No you don't have to resign and then be voted in again as a memeber - Old wifes tales, been to dozen of RPRA meeting when that gets chucked straight out! Why, because you are a member so all you are doing is changing the status. Then if half way through the season you decide o fly again - will have to pay the extra - all you need do is PHONE the sec and TELL HIM!

Regions only confirm suspension, or not.  If procedures have not been followed the suspension will be cancelled and the Club reprimanded.  Don't be scared of the title "Region" - they are a bunch of lads who have a sense of justice, and who give up their own time to ensure it is followed.

at the moment i only have 2 club options 1 north rd 1 south rd if i am suspended from either then i can not fly in the other so i have decided to go with the advice i am given by rpra sw region , which is to pay the amount and resign from the club  hoping that they will do the honorable thing and unsuspend me , if they do not then i will be forced to think about giving up flying birds .  >:( :(

rubbish if you paid your dues thats bad advise as far as im concerned, stand up and fight your corner with all the people leaving the sport , driving you out is not the way to do it site each and every member who witnessed you paying your subs and make the club bring them all in to explain then they should do the honourable thing and resind the suspension then go further if nessesary....PLEASE DONT GIVE UP WERE ALL BEHIND YOU  GOODLUCK..................
