square_peg
INLAND NAT ARE £1.50 SO IT STANDS TO REASON YOU MUST PAY SOMETHING ON TOP FOR YOUR FED PRIZE MONEY ,MAYBE £0.50-£0.80.AS THE FEDS WONT HAVE MUCH EXPENSE THIS SORT OF FIGURE WOULD SEEM OKAY

Guest TAMMY_1
THE THING IS WILL THE SNFC ALLOW US TO DUPLICATE INTO THE NATIONAL THROUGH THE FED AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND??? :-/ :-/ GREAT QUESTION ALF
Guest TAMMY_1
I do not know any SNFC member who would not duplicate back into the Lanarkshire fed as the fed race has £3000 prizemoney and a great pool race for those who want it, the wanting to send them with the SNFC is all about Prestige and racing against the full of Scotland. cheers Gareth WHERE DID THE £3,000 COME FROM ? Guest TAMMY_1
Alex stop scaremongering, birdage would be well less than £2.50 with duplication. IS THAT A GUARANTEE
Guest WINGS 04
I WILL BE SENDING MY BIRDS AS DUPLICAT WHAT CHANES TO SEE IF YOU HAVE THE GOODS IF THIS DOSE NOT GET YOU GOING FOR THE NEW SEASON NOTHING WILL COME ON BOY GET THINKING ABOUT GETTING A GOOD ONE IN THE SNFC AND THE FED OPEN RACE
Guest TAMMY_1
WHERE DID THE £3,000 COME FROM ? I CHECKED WITH FED SECRETARY ON THIS MONEY AND I FORGOT ABOUT THE SPONSORSHIP MONEY THAT HAD BEEN GIVEN FOR THIS RACE, THE WINNER GETS £500 AND THERE IS ANOTHER £2,500 PRIZE MONEY, AND IN THE CONVERSATION ABOUT THIS RACE I ASKED HIM ABOUT ALL THE RUMOURS AND GOSSIP AND STORIES GOING ABOUT AND HE QUOTED THAT" LANARKSHIRE WOULD NOT BE GOING WITH THE SNFC OR VICE VERSA AND WE WOULD BE GOING ALONE AS WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE " AND AS FAR AS HE WAS CONCERNED THERE HAS NOT BEEN AND WILL NOT BE ANY NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE SNFC ABOUT THIS RACE. AND I KNOW MY OPINION ON THIS RACE DIFFERS FROM OTHERS BUT I AGREE HERE THAT OUR FED IS EXACTLY THAT AND WE SHOULD FLY OURSELVES AS WE HAVE DONE FOR YEARS AND WHY SHOULD WE SUDDENLY CHANGE JUST BECAUSE THE SNFC DECIDED TO GO TO MAIDSTONE THIS YEAR
square_peg
THE THING IS WILL THE SNFC ALLOW US TO DUPLICATE INTO THE NATIONAL THROUGH THE FED AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND??? :-/ :-/ NO ALF YOU HAVE IT ALL WRONG, THE NAT ARE RUNNING A RACE FROM MAIDSTONE ON ?? JUNE 07, THIS IS ANOTHER INLAND NAT,(SAME AS NEWBURY ) WHAT HAS BEEN OFFERED TO THE FEDS IS TRANSPORTATION TO THIS RACE POINT.THE NAT CONTROL THE RACE,THE SAVING TO US ALL IS THE FACT THAT THE TRANSPORTERS SHOULD BE FULL ,WITH THE RESULT BEING LESS LORRYS GOING DOWN THE ROAD
Guest
Tammy, SNFC had offered to convoy Federation birds at cost price. Rather than having say 6 half-empty lorries, 6 convoyers, 6 drivers and maybe their assistants down there, joint convoy might reduce that to two full transporters and two crews. BRUNO I AM AWARE WHAT THE SNFC WERE OFFERING TO DO, WHERE ARE ALL THE RUMOURS COMING FROM THAT WE WERE ALL GOING TOGETHER LONG BEFORE THE SNFC AND LANARKSHIRE HAD THEIR LAST MEETINGS, ???? MAYBE SOMEONE MAKING ILLFOUNDED ASSUMPTIONS, AND AS YET I AM NOT EVEN AWARE IT IS ON THE AGENDA FOR THE NEXT DELEGATEWS MEETING BUT IF THIS CHANGES I WILL POST UP STATING THIS. CAN YOU TELL ME WHY THE SNFC ARE SO KEEN TO FLY WITH LANARKSHIRE, THIS YEAR, IN A PREVIOUS POST FROM SQUARE_PEG HE SAID THE SNFC WOULD HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER THE BIRDS, I PAY MY MONEY TO HAVE LANARKSHIRE IN CHARGE OF MY BIRDS NOBODY ELSE AND IF I HAD WANTED THE SNFC TO HAVE CHARGE OF MY BIRDS I WOULD BE IN THE SNFC, ALSO A POST MADE BY GARETH RANKIN HE SAID HE WANTED TO BE FLYING AGAINST THE BEST, WELL HE IS DOING THIS WHEN HE RACES WITH THE SNFC SO WHY WILL HIS BIRDS EITHER GOING WITH LANARKSHIRE FED OR NOT WHATEVER IS THE CASE ALTER THAT FACT , GARETH ALSO STATED HE DID NOT WANT TO SEND HALF HIS BIRDS WITH THE SNFC AND THE OTHER HALF WITH LANARKSHIRE FED, HE MIGHT HAVE TO DO THAT IF HE WANTS TO BE IN BOTH RACES IF THEY DONT GO TOGETHER.IF AND WHEN THERE IS A DISCUSSION ABOUT IT THERE WILL CERTAINLY BE A CONFLICT OF INTRESTS BETWEEN LANARKSHIRE MEMBERS WHO ALSO FLY IN THE SNFC AS I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF FED DELEGATES WHO ARE IN THIS POSITION AND MAYBE THIS IS WHY IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES THE FED DELEGATES SHOULD TAKE THINGS OF IMPORTANCE BACK TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL CLUBS AND VOTE THE WAY THE CLUBS WANT THEM TO VOTE AND NOT WHAT THE INDIVIDUAL DELEGATES THEMSELVES WANT TO VOTE FOR
Guest
Tammy i think you have made some good points i was one that was allways in favor of this when our fed along with a few others done it 2/3 years ago for the Claremont race it realy is not a new thing it has been done for a no of years now with other feds maybe the thinking is that its time to bring in the big boys the L/F as even yous must be feeling the pinch a bit and it does help save the pennys and also the more birds cumming up the country together the better as for control when i was on the SNFC commmity security and control was allways done by the snfc i cant see that changing and i supose you have to weigh up the fact that we would all like to be in control of every thing we do with our birds but some times you have to give a little to get a little some might say its that they want to be liberated themselfs to have a true fed race the decision is yours
Guest WINGS 04
TAMMY IF THIS HAPPENS YOU WILL STILL GET THE SAME RESULT THE BIRDS WILL BE GOING WITH THE SNFC BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE GOING BACK TO THE MEMBERS AS IN ONE OF THE LAST DELEGATES MEETINGS I WAS AT ABOUT THE ETS THIS SHOULD HAVE WHENT TO THE MEMBERS AND DID NOT JUST A VOTE AND THIS SHOULD JUST BE THE SAME
Guest TAMMY_1
NOTHING TO DO WITH ME BEING PART OF RACE CONTROL TEAM RAB, JIM HANNAH IS IN CHARGE OF BOTH FED AND SNFC RELEASES SECOND PART RAB , THAT IS MY PROBLEM EVERYTHING WILL BE UNDER SNFC, WHEN THEY GET UP AND WHERE THEY ARE MARKED, EVERYTHING WILL BE DECIDED BY SNFC , NOT WHAT I PAID MY MONEY FOR BACK TO THE NEXT PART ABOUT IT GOING BACK TO CLUBS, KNOW IT HAS NOT HAPPENED BUT IT SHOULD AND I WILL BE ASKING THIS AT THE NEXT MEETING IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS
Guest WINGS 04
TAM DO YOU RACE MARK OUT OF YOUR CLUB FOR MAIDSTONE OR GO TO THE ANOTHER CLUB THIS WILL JUST BE THE SAME BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PUT YOUR BIRDS IN THE SNFC RACE
Guest TAMMY_1
TAM DO YOU RACE MARK OUT OF YOUR CLUB FOR MAIDSTONE OR GO TO THE ANOTHER CLUB THIS WILL JUST BE THE SAME BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PUT YOUR BIRDS IN THE SNFC RACE WE GO TO LARKHALL BECAUSE IT IS AN OPEN RACE, BUT WHAT HAPPENS IF SOME FOLK FROM LARKHALL LIKE GARETH WANT TO BE IN BOTH, WILL SNFC ALLOW THESE BIRDS BE MARKED AT LARKHALL, THEY WILL WANT BIRDS TO BE TAKEN TO SNFC MARKING STATION, IN FACT THEY WILL PROBABLY WANT ALL BIRDS THAT ARE GOING MARKED AT SNFC STATIONS
JohnS
i read this on joe murphys lastest article on the elimar pigeon website that lanarkshire is going with snfc. i think it is agood thing. if u can win two prizes/2 pool moneys with same pigeon on the same day i think it can only be good. with regards to money with all the losses everyone was complaining about last year they wont have many to enter anyway. Guest
Tammy My own Fed had a 2007 race program including Newbury and Maidstone on our AGM agenda December 2006. At SNFC AGM last weekend, SNFC President said contact had been made with all the Feds and some had already included it in their 2007 race programme which meant these races and race dates had to stand. The overall response from Feds was said to be good. I have obviously misunderstood Lanarkshire's position in this. Had thought this thread was confirmation they were / had signed-up for Maidstone. Also on the 'sudden wish' by SNFC to convoy Feds ... nothing new, few years back when John Gray was PRO, publicised a move towards becoming Federation friendly.
