another complaint (amtrak)

amtrak came yesterday to pick four birds up for a fancier in nottingham,amtrak rang me today saying that they had lost one of the birds.any members ever had this happen

they raise their prices and STILL their abilities dont change for the better on a whole,i know some praise amtrak because they have had decent service....but its a real pain to be on the end of complete  and utter bad service...nothing will change as they got us by the balz,...paul :(

Amtrax are a big problem... most of fanciers got a problem with Amtrax...

found the bird one of the drivers found it in his van,so hes took it home as his grandad keeps pigeons they say it will be delivered tomorrow hopefully

the lost 8 of my belgiun stock birds of stevie fenech,we were jumping but the foung them in the middlands and i in cornwall,they also lost a white grizzle sent from frank tasker for a day! :'( :-/ :'(

had 2 birds off archie( the fifer) last year, two boxes, only 1 bird!! never saw the other 1 again? and they did nt know how it got out!! useless muppets!!

I put 2 young birds in the pigeon chat children in need auction, dippytrak (amtrak) picked them up yesterday and guess what............ not been delivered today.

 

It stinks, we can not carry on like this, and somthing needs doing, watch this space!!!!!!

AMTRAK A TOTAL JOKE!!!!!!!  THEY FAILED TO PICK BIRDS UP FROM ME ,SO I TOOK THEM TO WORK IN ONE OF MY BASKETS, CAME TO PICK THEM UP BUT HAD NO BOXES, HE AGREEDTO TAKE THE BASKET AND TRANSFER THE BIRDS INTO BOXES AT THE DEPOT.  AND AS YOU HAVE ALL GUESSED THE BIRDSA ARRIVED IN SCOTLAND SAFELY, AND MY BLOODY BASKET.THEY ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF SPACE.

Personally i have had no problem with amtrack they have always been really helpfull at the local depot and out driver is very good, always rings to confirm he is collecting or dropping off, never have problem getting box's paperwork etc, however i have had 1 minor issue with a late delivery thats all otherwise good service other that rising prices but i guess thats to cover their ever growing costs.

Mac you will end up pulling your hair out, i went to a depot to pick my birds up and its total chaos. They work long long hours for , what i would call poor pay.

 

You will end up having no time to look after your birds.

 

I used to work for United carriers years ago and it was virtually 12 hour days every day including sat and sun.

 

Mangers words were there is plenty of people on the dole if you dont like then f*** off.

Stayed for 2 years until i could find the best job for my trade (A Proper fully trained Tank Mechanic) not many of us about, now i work for the MOD again as a civvy, pays not great but i have flexi hours 37 per week and a pension building up (if i live that long).

Anyway if you do go for it at least we will get some birds delivered in the north east.

Very true, but the alternative scare the hell out of us causes nihtmare just thinking for a fleeting moment about it ... Goll then Amtrax would be classed as Saints lol.

Must say then that as regards Amtrax am completely overwhelmed with my luck then. Always been same day delivery actually ... When I use tem again I'l have a £5 win yankee on 4 outsiders, for I must be one hell of a lucky git!

To Help stop birds getting out of the Boxes Amtrax supply I always put tape through the handle,packing tape or cellotape i guess would also do the trick,its stops them opening them for a quick look and guess what?  the birds out before they now where they are, ooooooooooops, bird missing
