Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Spoke to wee Norman this afternoon, he is gutted at what has happened, 6 birds killed 4 with tails pulled out and a couple of birds injured on the floor. PS, Norman has always been in my eyes the toughest Fancier i have ever met and he will take this on the chin and move on like he has always done.
gangster Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 when you see him pass on all our best for him.........................
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 and the two that are injured on the floor are two of his older more experinced birds and they had just stamped on them on the floor, he said the boot marks were on them, the dead ones were yearlings, the loft was covered in feathers where they were chasing them and trying to catch them, passed on the messages on this thread and he said thanks very much for them and he also said thanks for the offer of birds but they are not needed
Sally McQueen Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 No problem. If he ever changes his mind for YB's Tammy let me no
jimmy white Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 so sorry to hear that norman , i hope the culpritis found and punished ,sad news
pj1001 Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 I don't really know Norman, but have seen his name in the pigeon press over the years. I am sorry to hear what these scum have done to him and his birds. Hopefully the culprits will be found and dealt with in the same manner they dealth with Norman's birds. Going to his loft and being greeted with a scene like this will sticks in Norman's head for the rest of his life, but god willing with time the injured birds will recover and Norman will get back to the sport that he loves again. Tammy or Gareth if you are talking to Norman can you pass on my sympathy please. Regards PJ
