FUNDS FROM SALE OF BIRDS

I know a committee has been formed to look at what to do with the money raised and I know the auction has not long finished and I know they will me looking at each case on it's merit but I personally think the first case that should be getting any attention , like right now, is that of member Superstar, who we alll know lost everything , he has not even got access to a computer at the moment to even get back on the forum, so come on committee lets see some positive action right now and don't be like the committee's that have funds but drag their heels about who and what to pay out on, I don't think this case would need a lot of thinking about. My opinion only.

I agre full Tammy, it should go to the 'needy' and nobody needs it more right now than Superstar.

i totally agree tammy,the pigeon fraternity give 100"s of thousands of pounds away each year to charities un-related to the pigeon game,lets look after our own first and i too think that our OWN member superstar would be a worthy recipient of a donation from the pb fund.

Thought this was what the fund was for, less talk more action as stated a good cause one of our own so lets do what the fund was set up for and help the man.

I totally agree with you Tammy, I know some may say I am slightly biased as Superstar (Mark) is my best mate but some may say I see how things really are for him at face value.  He does get to hear whats going on on here as I phone him daily and he often asks me to log on and let him know whats happening.

Could I point out that there are still several birds that have not been paid for, I'm sure one of the difficulties the organisers have is knowing how much they will have to 'play with', they will want t slice the cake fairly but until you know the size of the cake its hard to know the portions. I know its frustrating and there are some real deserving cases...........but lets all ask those that have not paid to PLEASE get their payments in.

The orther point is that the people making the decision need information on every case put before them and where as one member of the site is without a shadow of a doubt tremendously deserving, there may be others that have been suggested anfd the guys making the decision need time to find out their positions to. I gave a bird and purchased a lot to support the auction and to help fellow fanciers above everything else. I have trust that Richard and co will do what's best..and I must admit I wouldn't wish to be inthier shoes, cause its bloody tough trying to be like Solomon. So let's be patient and give them a chance to sort.

Your expecting them to start giving out when there's quite a few still not paid!!

AND I THINK EVERYBODY ON THE FORUM SAW THE PLIGHT OF SUPERSTAR LAST YEAR SO DONT THINK ANYBODY NEEDS ADVISING ON THIS CASE, KNOW ALBEAR ALSO SAID THERE WILL BE OTHER CASES TO CONSIDER AS WELL , BUT HOW MANY LOST EVERYTHING ALONG WITH THEIR HOUSE, AND BEFORE IT IS SUGGESTED I DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE MAN SO I AM NOT TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR SOMEBODY I KNOW, JUST THINK HE IS THE MOST DESERVING CASE THAT CAN BE PUT FORWARD

Tammy, don't disagree with your sentiments at all, am with you all the way, but there may be  (and I don't know) other very deserving cases that have not had the same publicity (it's the wrong word  don't mean 'publicity', just can't think what the right one is, having one of my senior moments!) as Superstar.

BUT you're all missing a very important point, PEOPLE NEED TO PAY FOR THE BIRDS THEY BID FOR NOW!!!! Take a look at the birds still not paid for ............That way there are no excuses for the committee not to get cracking
