jimmy white Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 there is a really top avian , goverment run vet who would do this for you craig [test the droppings anyway] i know the doctor in charge fairly well ,,the tests would be expertly done at a minimum cost,, you would have to send me your droppings [ well the pigeons ;D] if you have an uplift post about 4pm , theyll be in the docs by 9 30 am , and printed results quick
Roland Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Johnny 11 on here, and he is very cost consceintious! You get really quick results.... same day if a 'Bacterial' test isn't needed.
chickadee Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 My dad comes from Damhead and he says that there is The Royal (Dick vet school) Sommerhall Edinburgh, you will find it in www.vetclick.com-find-a-vet-member this will also give you a list of vets in your area.
DOVEScot Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 We took some scrapings and fresh droppings and put them in a plastic dish that you normally get your takeaway chinese in. They are cheap and easily available. Wash the dish thoroughly(we bleached them and then dried them). They seal easily and add tape for an extra, you can post these cheaply to any of the vets suggested of your local DEFRA(who tend to be on the expensive side) I have been told that www.manorcourtvets.co.uk are good they wiil test for anything and I believe the head partner is a pigeon man. Hope this helps DAN Senior
