Guest marvin Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 Has anyone had anything back from the channel yet today just wondering what sort of velocity they are doing?
mac1 Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 west durham are held over at arras :'(,how many feds have liberated
Guest marvin Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 We are panicking a little as ours were up with the Severn Valley at 6:45 am from Lessay and we haven't seen a thing!!! Thought they would have been back by now. Just wondering if the conditions are not too great on the way or our pigeons have got totally lost, this is their first time over the channel.
Guest Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 Just thought I'd put on for those that don't know it an excellent site for weather for GB & France, you can choose, wind, weather, temp etc and click on the flag to choose country http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ We are at Messac with the West of England South Road Combine up at 8.45 in light NE, birds held until then cause of cloud cover.

Roland Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Seems the consesors here abouts is they went too soon. Bicc seem to have had a good race though.
mac1 Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 dont think our birds will be liberated tomorrow either
thunderboult Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 I SENT 2 cocks to picauville with the welsh south road birds up at 8-15 had the first 1 1-44,2nd bird 2-05
Guest Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Good pigeons Thunderbolt, it's been dreadful here all day, about 12 to 1 it slackened but now its worse than ever, the wind has picked up and the rain is driving. Don't know how far east it extended, perhaps you were lucky, in that they came in around Southampton, possibly drier more easterly?? But well done!
peterpau Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Seems the consesors here abouts is they went too soon. Bicc seem to have had a good race though. Last BICC race we had 3 in top 200 none of which were here this morning. Have had two come in the rain today. We had two last night clocked at 6.15 pm 107th I think. We are 20 short from 26. Are you sure the BICC had a good race.
