Hi Peeps,

 

I received my pigeon clock today (second hand) and I am really happy with it. One slight problem tho. The plunger wont go down to turn the inside wheel. Is there a reset button on it somewhere? Or am I missing something? Any advice please.

the spring is broken on your plunger you will need to send it of to get repaired, should also see if a triangle ios apparent on your clock face as that will mean battery will be going, you best of sending it of as soon as possible

If its a T2/T3 try opening the clock up then push down the plunger. What box number is showing? (number at the top)

Its a Junior T3 and the box that is currently showing is the one with two arrows. The plunger goes down slightly but not all the way.

Try a 14lb Glasgow Engineer' first, a big lump hammer, they seem to shift most things with them lol.... Mind Linnels are rubbing the hands.... Sorry mate, but a good many ole imers in the club oft know whats what like, the clock setters may well have some advice, good or bad, but sooner fixed better mended I guess

open clock then push plunger down, the cell with the arrows is the last cell and needs to be opened and plunger pushed down again.

get it checked out mate,imagine you were timing a good pigeon from a race and it broke on you..

clock should be ok now, it was just that the drum had went all the way round to the last cell, and needed opened and plunger pushed down again.
