Guest Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 hi paul, i dont know anything, im just friggin angry that someone could do this, and just dump them, there bas***ds, keep us posted............amanda > > >
Guest Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 hi amanda...will do ..i thought they might have been wood pigeons dumped there ....they were being run over by cars ...they were all freshly killed this morning..as none of them were stiff bodied.....paul.
stevebelbin Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Sounds like someone has stolen them and decided to Kill them. Years ago I had all my YBs stolen and the next day, I had 12 out of 25 return, and the others were found dumped in a corn bag in the next town from me, most were dead, but 5 were saved, JUST. Basta--s!!!!!
timbarra Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 this is dispicable behaviour and the RSPCA should be notifeid immediatly so they can trace whoever did this, dont report it to RPRA they wont do anything except put a letter in the paper, RSPCA call them mate.
johnny11 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Looking at the various rings could be strays someone could not be arsed reporting John
peterpau Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Very bad behaviour but don't speak to RSPCA as it will be just another stick to beat us all with
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 yes thats ture peter but that i disgusting how did you find the bag?
Guest Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 i just reported it to the rpra to find the owners ...bit of sherlock holmes about me lol...so far no luck...paul.
nutverlal Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 it is sad and sickening, when you hear this kind of activity happening. The person who did this need their legs cut off and dumped on the road ( figure of speech) I hope we can all work together and track this person down. Good luck and keep us all informed.
Roland Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 this is dispicable behaviour and the RSPCA should be notifeid immediatly so they can trace whoever did this, dont report it to RPRA they wont do anything except put a letter in the paper, RSPCA call them mate. Don't see any logic in that. The further we stay away from them and their soudo attension grabbing the better. Besides they can'y, and wouldn't be able to do oat.... Just use it as another pubicity stunt to pass their tin around. That's the only time ever they are about.... after so story breaks news in the media. Yes have had dealings with them. YES there is just one covering a vast district. No they don't and won't come out unless there is any milage in it for them ... like above. But any thing like that is best left to us and any 'Body' that is genuine interested. Like if Culprits found the RPRA should prosecute and take action.
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Paul have checked all the above that i can, here are the club secs, phone numbers that i can find,J55204 is a national flying club ring,K46282 is from Minehead sec.01643 706686.S77740 is from sodbury vale bristol sec,01179 372310,R20379 is from cheshire sec.01925 638154.Z82905 is a midland national ring.Looks like it could be someone who as got rid of a lot of strays.
Guest Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 cheers m8...i think he has had these birds to breed off maybe ...as there were birds with rings cut off his own birds wot he didnt want....think he has had a clear out after breeding wot he wanted....could have binned them but decided he was gonna be a fool, lets hope he aint dumping more around the country.....paul
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Interested to know if you have contacted the secs,of any of the birds to find out if they were lost birds or wether they had been transferred to the person who did it,that would be a way of finding out who did it and then reporting him to the R.P.R.A.
Guest Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 i have been told by the rpra that they are sending out letters to the owners and for them to contact me to see how they were found.ill wait a day or two now, then ill ring them ,ill update when i get any info.....paul
