GREENGRASS Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 WHAT A PERFORMANCE FROM JOHN PROCTOR AND HIS BRAVE BRAVE PIGEON. AS YOU SAID "ME" MUST HAVE BEEN SOAKED A COUPLE OF TIMES AND STILL KEPT GOING. JUST UNDER 12 HOURS FOR 600+ MILES AMAZING PERFORMANCE.

I am sure most will agree when i say that fife has some top class fanciers when it comes to the national races from the water at the moment Benvie,Procter,Downie,Dall,Donnachie,Peggies,Gilmours.Keep it up lads and lets hope we see more fife lads get up there with them in the next couple of water races.Well done to you all and your pigeons.

jimmy white Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 yes alf i was wondering that myself , allthough the wind is in the south, its very light at this side of the country ,and theres been a few showers , it would be great to see a bird home on the day it certainly was nice to see a pic of the bird , a beautifull pigeon, must have had a very strong heart,, as said before,,,,the stuff dreams are made of ,,,,great stuff
