Guest Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 Central Scotland - clearing up nicely from overnight strong winds and heavy rain. High, broken cloud, but that cloud is moving at a fair speed from the West, so strong winds up there.

(Does it not know its daytime....) Its a very long time ago that I was told this - back at school. The moon is always there in the sky, the reason we usually don't see it tho in the daytime sky is because its obscured by clouds. Its also more obvious at night as it reflects light from the sun in a sunless sky. Micks pic does show the moon in a cloudless sky.
