hi,

i have a freind coming to see my loft in 4 days

anyways he said hes giving me a yellow hen, racing pigeon

what do yellows look like? i have never seen one?

It has all the colours under the sun.  You need to look in the box for dilution/pale, click on it and the page will show four English Modenas.  The third Schietti (self coloured) Modena is a yellow.

pmsl, i take it your chocolate is Galaxy or Dairy Milk then Red Cheq Hen!  ;D

 

Those birds definately lok like Chocolates (Recessive Reds) to me!

They are definitely yellows.  Yellow is dilute of red.  "Chocolate" is recessive red.  Mealy is ash red bar.

if you look at page 6 of   racing pigeons   5th post down  you will see yellows there

there has been confusion over this before, can somebody actually post a photo of a chocolate and a yellow together so we can actually see them together, I have a bird which i always classed as, and bought as a chocolate, and when i put the photo on here before some said it was a yellow and not a chocolate, here is the photo again.
