Has any one bathed there birds on a friday in very hot water in the racing season .

some one told me this along time ago .

Can some one tell me the pros and cons of this or is this just rubbish  :-/.

my mate up north tells me he does this every week and takes em to the club still wet ,i personally don't do it but i have given em a cold bath if they want(not forced) but not every week or if their's a chance they'll meet rain coming home.

I BATHED THEM EVERY FRIDAY MORNING THIS YEAR FOR THE 1ST TIME AND HAD MY BEST Y/B SEASON YET ;) ;) ;)

 

try taking a bath your self big fella it might wash out some of the booze ;D

I,ve tried all ways, after a race, on a sunday, wednesday, thursday, friday morning, hot, warm, cold, it hasnt set any pattern to winning as they've won all ways. If I only had one day to bath them it would be a Sunday after a Saturday race... 8) 8)

I have hand bathed my birds in hot water with Radox in it after a hard fly.Watch them go to sleep.The Radox totally relaxes their muscles, this in turn helps them recover better
