REDCHEQHEN Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 I don't wish to be rude - but if its only 50 miles from you, why can't you pick it up yourself? I would if it were mine

All for one & one for all
superleeds Posted September 12, 2007 Author Report Posted September 12, 2007 would like to thank bewted for the collection of pigeon . she is in a sorry state but now in good hands a pigeon fancier. one thing that has come out of this though that if there was more fanciers like bewted then this sport would not be in sutch a sorry state .sorry if i sound bitter .but this appeal opend my eyes to the state of the fancy at the moment .my the people like bewted come to the fore
bewted Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 two points on here to mention,,,,this was an injured pigeon and picked up of the side of the road by member of public,,,,,,,,,,,my first concern was the pigeons health, that is foremost in this matter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the second one is public picking a stray up that is injured,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a fancier asked for help which was urgent,i was only too glad to help superleeds, dont know this fancier at all, only on here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what happens is like all threads on here, silly remarks or stupid banter on an item that needs attention immediately,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,not going to argue with anyone on here about it,just trying to say, keep the remarks/banter in their rightfull place and help a fellow fancier when in urgent need, the public can do you more harm than you think if you upset them too much, ted

We do need to be zealous in our relationships with the general Public. Who knows no only a good name, but even a new member sometimes. And like Ted I see no reason for me to banter on this any longer suffice to say 'Well Done Ted, good on yer'!
