Guest CS Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 ~Not sure if you can order corns on the line?...~...
Mike Lycett Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Would al depend on how many bags I think Certainly Gem Supplements & Cosworth would send corn - but it may be more effective to buy it locally
Guest jason Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Boddy & Ridewood send corn if ordered from their catalogue but I think postage would kill the price :-/ Jason
blackjack Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Watch corn prices go up the wheat is £140/tonne and its not the best beans and peas will go up as well poor crops and yeilds are low.

WE ARE ABLE TO PURCHASE BARLEY OR WHEAT AT £3.50 FOR A BAG, THEY ARE NOT WEGHED OUT BUT ARE 25 KILO BAGS THAT ARE FILLED RIGHT TO THE TOP SO THEY ARE WELL OVER THE 25 KILOS GREAT VALUE WISH EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AS CHEAP
tommy d Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 i paid £4.50 a bag wheat couple weeks ago from a farm, paid £2.80 a bag from same farm last year.
Guest MBpigeonguy Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 i get my corn from the feild, we own 10.000 acers of land so i never pay for feed, lol, my birds dont eat corn, it puzzles me, i dont know why they dont eat it, but they always leave just corn in the feed tray,
Guest Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Don't have a car and getting my feeding has been a problem until last year when I happened to mention it to the lads working where I get mine. Their deliveries to farms drop off in the autumn / winter, bags of room on the lorry, they're passing my place and they'll deliver free then. So last November I bought 13 bags to take me to the end of 2007 racing season. Was in again today, and 17 bags for 2008 being delivered on Monday. If information on a rise in grain prices is correct, I've maybe saved a bit on feeding costs too.
T_T Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Bought my usual from Malibu grains and all gone up. Beans £8:50, Barley £7:50 and also Chicken Layers Pellets gone up to £7 and a few pence. Most of the bags of mixed corn are also 20kgs.
Guest Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 all the prices are up so as they can make a living of it ,dependant on us fanciers so what part do they play in the raptor fight as we are there bread and butter so to speak the more that leaves the sport then the less feeding gets sold and the less profit they make .
Back garden fancier Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Prices in Yorkshire are £5.60 beans/ wheat / barley. Why the difference I wonder?
T_T Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 For one reason or another we in the South always seem to pay over the odds for something of a similar kind bought up North.
Back garden fancier Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 North South divide does have some advantages!!
