Guest Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Paul what sort of price did you pay? Understand if you don't want to say
Fair Play Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Some of the prices for a young bird are quite frightening - The second bird owned by wingnuts was sitting on Elimar at £2500 (By himself an American ) and that was before the sale proper. Best of luck to all who are going to bid - Credit card or two will come in very handy ;D ;D ;D. Maybe Invincible_spirit can us what it looked like and quality of birds available.
Back garden fancier Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 What did the cheaper birds go for?
thunderboult Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 they have'nt been sold yet the sales not til next sunday but you can bid on elimar's site for the birds now and they take them prices to the sale room to start off at. the 1st bird is at £2,200 the 2nd £2,500 ,the third £400 and the first 4 came together , the fancy names sell well but you can pick up tidy birds for a reasonable amount
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 yh the forion ones are selling for £££££££ !
GROVEHOMER Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 I've got one in the sale, Lot 29. I bought the dam of it from KEN. The bird is a cock, I sent a pair off to the Europa and bred a pair for myself, I donated one of those to a fancier who had most of his birds killed by a stoat or something, I've still got the other one, she's one of only a handful I have left, she's been through hell but still with me.
