Bug in pigeon food

High we opened a bag of moulting mix and found this bug in it, not an expert and have never seen one like it, ignore the red spatters on the box it is paint

Any ideas please

It is definately of the beatle family and is camouflage in colour? :-/

The ones I seen when I stayed in London were a natural brown colour not green like this one

check the droppings of the bettle if alls well then there is nothing wrong with the grub

I would rather find out what the bug was, and if concernimg I would return the bag of food to supplier rather than risk the pigeons

i believe so i get them  every year in my garden
