T_T Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Strange that young Ben, Don't very often see them around here but this morning when I opened the kitchen blinds, there was one sat on my yb trap. It can't get to them but it did enough to frighten them to the back of the loft for an hour or more. I shall be watching.
Guest Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 this is the time they started hitting me last year

THE FIFER Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I was at CUPER on sunday at the under 13s football match and on the way home from CUPER to LEVEN we saw 6 hawks so plenty of them around, also in leven i take my dog down the beach and each morning looking over to silverburn, 2 are there every morning, with the crows chasing them, but i have noticed the crows dont get them to go away they just fly around,
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 yes they do that down here but they start to dive bomb them!
DJ Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 hi ben sorry to hear of your problem with perigrines > sparrowhawks cause me problems now and again but i dread to think of what its like when u have peregrines harrasing/taking your birds saying that the way raptors are breeding in this country it probably wont be long b4 percy is in my area ive only just started keeping pigeons but if the raptor problem continues to get worse then i will just pack it in debbie
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 no dont pack it in i will soon be thinking of a way to convince rspb to cull them
