Strange that young Ben,

Don't very often see them around here but this morning when I opened the kitchen blinds, there was one sat on my yb trap.  It can't get to them but it did enough to frighten them to the back of the loft for an hour or more.  I shall be watching.

talking to a friend tonight he was telling me about a peregrine strike today

one of his birds broke from the batch with percy right behind

the bird was heading right for the loft the pigeon just kept going straight for the loft and hit him on the chest

the peregrine flew right on over the loft

he still has pigeons in bushes outside his loft

when they come in they will not be out till march

I was at CUPER on sunday at the under 13s football match and on the way home from CUPER to LEVEN we saw 6 hawks so plenty of them around, also in leven i take my dog down the beach and each morning looking over to silverburn, 2 are there every morning, with the crows chasing them, but i have noticed the crows dont get them to go away they just fly around,

hi ben  sorry to hear of your problem with perigrines   >:(   sparrowhawks cause me problems now and again but i dread to think of what its like when u have peregrines harrasing/taking your birds   saying that the way raptors are breeding in this country it probably wont be long b4 percy is in my area  ive only just started keeping pigeons but if the raptor problem continues to get worse then i will just pack it in
