Guest CS Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 DORDINS strain..................................
paddymac Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Craig, if the spelling is right Roland is 100% right Piere Dordin pigeons originated in France.
paddymac Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Top pigeons Craig, but I found that they take a lot of work to prepare for a race. Unfortunately I hadn't the time so i sold them on.
Roland Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Jim Biss of course was a mucker of Dordins and bought some good birds ... which many thought would set Pierre back a bit... a for a minute, if any thing he went stronger.
blackjack Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 The Best flyer of Dordin pigeons in the Uk in my opinion is Dave Posey he has a small team 24 birds and his flying record damn good. He doesnt sell and is a true freind and completly honest . A refreshing change in todays world.
tompadel Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 What about D LAWTON ...crewe i believe not a big team man serious pigeons though.
blackjack Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 I have seen Mr Lawtons results and they are very impressive but i do not know the gentleman. What i can tell you about Dave is he won the North Oxon channel averages flying 6 birds winning 5 of the 6 races, He has flown very well in the c. s .classic and his Bicc record is winning the hens Dax international, 2nd Pau and many other good positions flying an average of 3 birds per race.

EAGLEOWL Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 AS MR DAVENPORT FROM LEEDS SAID WHEN HE VISITED US IT WAS LIKE BEING IN ALLADINS CAVE FULL OF DORDINS ,told me they where the best he had ever seen and a credit to the owner .
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 sammy on here can give u good advice on the dordins as he keeps them
blackjack Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 Cs if you want performance Dordins then its Either Dave Posey or Derek Lawton i see it said like looking at the crown jewels on the site .With respect though i didnt see any international winners classic or BICC performance birds aka Dave Posey or good NFC @MNFC aka Derek Lawton and remember Dave Posey flys at top 20 birds and though i do not know the gentleman Derek Lawton i belive is 40 birds. Do not let performance be blinded by gloss .
