chickadee Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 I know it sounds a really good system, and it's really good for your birds coming in and you don't have to be there, but, if I was in the racing, I would still want to be there just for the excitement of seeing the birds coming in.I know when we sometimes take our friends birds out for a fly I always get excited when he phones up to tell me when his first bird comes in, and I also like to know when the last one comes in too. ;D Yes I've heard ets is really good. ;D

Guest dogeon Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 How, what is the best one, may need one for Cabin Boy, hoping to study them at Blackpool i studed all ets before i brought one and the unicon seemed the best for me especially when they bring out that you can print out your own training sheet. the best bet is to look at them for yourself at blackpool and choose one that will suit you for your needs and the birdage
Guest dogeon Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 it depends onn how many birds you've got. The unicon models do the same except for the birdage you've got the unicon 200, allows 200 birds to be stored into it and the unicon 500 is 500 birds then youve got the pocket clock which if you race from two clubs ie nationals and club races at the same time then you need one, if you only do club racing then you don't need one as you just take the base station to the club. then youv'e got the mats i only went for the two pad as i only use one entance you can swap it from old bird to young as when you need it
Guest dogeon Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 to give you an idea of the size of one pad and how i've got the ets pad set into the loft entrance
DOVEScot Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Why does it have to be inside your loft
sapper756 Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Why does it have to be inside your loft SHU AND RPRA RULES
LISTER Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 how wide is the gap behind the arch please ??
THE FIFER Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Why does it have to be inside your loft its so you dont have the advantage of birds with rubbers as they have to be cuaght, also the bird cannot get timed then take off again, there is a bit of doubt on this matter as birds with rubbers going into stall traps dont have to be caught etc,
Guest dogeon Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Why does it have to be inside your lofti was told that it has to be inside the loft RPRA rules i think.
sapper756 Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 :-/ SHU AND RPRA RULES :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/
Guest dogeon Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 how wide is the gap behind the arch please ?? i've built a smaller version of the sputnik at 13 " so the birds don't fly over the pad, the holes at the front are so the birds have to walk over the pad, but i wanted to be sure
Guest dogeon Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ sorry the shu too
