Was purely pointing out it isnt the clocking system that wins for you, but your birds and your ability with them to get them to perform at their best. Oh and as for falling out of bed when I'm back to racing, I doubt that as I am rarely in the thing! As I said, you only get out what you put in and trust me I do know how its done. Mind thinking about it feel free to give me some pointers on how you do it, I've not got a closed mind on the subject and would be interested to see how good a flyer you are. Love and best wishes xxx

In a 1760 ypm race ten a quarter of mile behind will all beat you... and no amount of better breeding, managerment, or getting them fitter than the opposition will alter that! Merlin Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 My own out look regarding E.T.S. is this system is of no benefit to our birds welfare in any way,with so much misinformation,sickness,losses,Birds of Prey etc, with none of these appearing to be addressed in any way,no one would baulk at giving less able bodied fanciers whatever means required to make the game more enjoyable,this would never have been even an issue im sure,any competitive fancier still competing within five years will almost certainly be using E.T.S. regarding if he wants to or not, will fanciers have left game by then,more expense on an ongoing basis,how foolproof will it be,remembering you have chips in bank cards also,look at scams here,down the road its an amount of hassle,as a fancier my misgivings are the bird its health or exploits are no better off than now,if half the time or energy thats been spent re E.T.S was spent trying to sort out in my beleif more urgent issues affecting our birds welfare I believe we would be steering in the right direction,personally I would live without this system,unless I start to get shaded by others using it. So if we want it or no,eventually we will all have it.If you wish to stay competitive and be fair to your birds abilities.

Could well be that there will a 'forming' a club without the likes of him ... a Manual clocker’s only club if you like, where no one is 'WILLING OR ABLE' to set the ET up ... Now they won't be discriminating against anyone ... just like now, only letting in those that we want. Now that will be a pity. Faster clocking, no birds getting trap shy, and a quarter of a mile start on the manual clocker’s' somewhere some one is being discriminated against lol. But then... stuff them I'm alright eh!
