400 rings from RPRA =£86.60.

£86.60  Divided by 400 =21.65p each.

Members pay 22p per ring.

Some clubs charge a bit extra for rings to help with the income of the club.

90 cents here (around 40 - 41 p with the conversion etc, by my mathematics) & we buy them by the 100s upon 100s  :D :D :D. my limit is 130, small fry !!!!!!!!.

Funny story !!!!!!!!! at least to me,  ;D ;D ;D member was talking to ring secretary at a local club a short while ago, & mentioned he had the club issue of rings for the year. Sitting there in a shoe box which was full to the brim !!!! that you buy shoes in.

"No he said",  :P :P :P this is just  ****** ******  issue. But he may require more. Before the season's over.  :D :D :D

Pigeon flyers, what a hopeless lot  ;D ;D ;D.

Enjoy.

I can understand why metal rings cost a bit more than in the past. But our local corn supplier is selling, un-numbered narrow wrap around plastic rings at 15p each.   AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! in my mind. What,s happenned to profit margins?

;D Tony C,

Yes I do use the nail varnish, some years on my young hens during yb racing, solely for intant sex identification. I also have my w/h hens rung with coloured plastic rings to speed basketing time up, hence my plastic ring enquiries. ;)
