can an ets club unit ( radio clock) be used as a master timer for conventional clocks? could this save work?

In principal I would say yes, only problem is most feds etc. want a print off so there is a record of  what time the clocks were struck.I often set our Master timer by the radio clock, saves money ringing Tim.

Pigeon man, have you checked your radio clock with tim?

My DAB radio clock is about 3 second diff from GMT!

Yes mate allways keep a close check on that as well.

master timer will soon be a thing of the past .with the radio ets clock the snfc is useing it to set stb  t3 etc

With no print out like you get with a mastertimer there is no way of knowing that the ets clock is correct.

not sure how it works but no its bang on  ask unicon next time he on

A radio signal is sent from Cumbria( I think it is now was allways Rugby)but with the radio controlled clock its still best to keep a check on them every now and again.

Yea your right suppose you could use the print out you get when marking the birds depends how differant feds and National clubs see it.
