prize money and pools bigda are compatible and pro rata to other national races. the fact that a solid gold medal is presented to the winner each year to keep makes this a top notch event. the medal has a substantial cash value being made of high grade and quality gold.

well done again you have driven the nail well home

i think your are the only  club  that has  given  a gold medal

when still in your  infancy

Well done to Stuart Mullan on winning and all who timed. Fantastic racing by Peter Virtue, tops in the country this last few years along with Richard Combe at 500 plus miles.

not a problem with the result problem with no pools in clocks. not unusual in many distance races.

most  distance races  have a  cut of time and the  majority of fanciers don't know if there is pools  still up for grabs  unless  inside info !  and normally the pools are not claimed just a thought

that was strange, never seen that before especially with   the  race been so hard, whats is the time bar for your race

400 yards per minute.

when dose the count down begin after liberation, the  first  bird timed or have the clocks to be regulated again as  surley 36+ hrs is over the top

Posted

the time begins when liberation happens. speed determines the end. distance divided by time. regulating clocks has nothing to do with the calculation.

hours of darkness are 11.00-4.30 each day. for this race.

has your clock to be ran of, then reset for late comers  for the ones that timed  the following day again just asking
