from ripon to lanarkshire

next week we are at ripon weather permiting,whats the lib site like

is it the race track, or what, are there manny hawks  about this area, any time i have raced  yearlings from it, i have found it a sticky racepoint before.and i fear it will catch us out with young birds :'(

Let's see how many y/b's are at next weeks race as in days gone by at Ripon with y/b's our club has only needed 2 baskets for cocks and 2 for hens.We had 467 birds away at Tow Law so we'll see what happens this week

more  like the fed's flying south will cause us more of a problem think there may be seven our eight going the opposite way from us then we will join the feds going north into scotland as well

Big Da the race course is the lib site as Frank says clashing could be your main problem being in the Vale of York Percy not a big problem

i know now,   why :'(  we have had bad racing from ripon!

because we have to fly through a town called" bedlam" going north

All the best to all the Midland Fed young birds battleing up the road this weekend hope they doo better than usual at this time of year and dodge a few hawks and get up the road safe and sound!

 

Lets all remember smart ass fanciers winning lots of money in open races is not the most important thing about the birds!
