Chris Little Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Noticed in the fancy press this week the agenda for the upcoming NFC Committee meeting, one item for discussion was to extend the Scottish section (M) to include part of England. Any thoughts........ good or bad
DUBLINFLYER Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 dont think it would be good for scotland fliers.... could you imagine a lad/lady in england winning the snfc :-/ be very strange
Chris Little Posted October 29, 2008 Author Report Posted October 29, 2008 It is the NFC, nothing to do with SNFC
DUBLINFLYER Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 oh very sorry my mistake :X sorry bout that :X
jimmy_bulger Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 i thought the reason for sect M was to encourage the scots to compete in the long distace nationals,it seems it would be counter productive for the scotish section winner to be flying into england .
Novice Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 It's a bit early to comment but I believe the Scottish entries would be coordinated vis the SNRPC and as such would still be competing in a Scottish National in addition to competition in Section M. I must admit I missed this in the weekend paper.
Guest Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 i think i can see where they are coming from chris and we cant say what the nfc should or should not do for their org. but i think if they did that then the snrpc would have to re-think this whole thing iam a member of the nfc and my views are that sec m is for lofts situated north of the border if they did change it it might stop scottish fanciers sending just my oppinion we can see how we do against the rest of the country in the open i think we should have our own sec
Guest Vic Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 I may be wrong, But are there not some flyers to the east of you that actually race into England , but fly further. Maybe? If this is true, surely no argument!
Guest Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 not quite sure what you mean race into england there are no lofts racing in the snrpc or the snfc whos lofts are in england as far as i know vic
Guest Vic Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 There are one or two question marks?? Somewhere in my mind! I find it slightly embarrassing to realise that that my marbles are diminishing. At an alarming rate. LOL. My football foecasts, far outweigh MY pigeon prolifications. I am sure that one or two will agree? lol. C'mon the Reds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Put the Manure where it belongs! LOL.
Guest Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 iam sure you will be all right if you keep taking the pills vic LOL you may be getting mixed up with the borders boys who race with the up north combine but their lofts are still in scotland
Chris Little Posted October 29, 2008 Author Report Posted October 29, 2008 Possibly to give the very north of England lads an incentive to join. With regards to the SNRPC, they have nothing to do with the NFC hence they have nothing to worry about.

In the days of waning support for pigeon racing, the organizers of the SNRPC should be held responsible for shooting themselves in their feet, and thereby weakening the very essence of the sport north of the border. Shame on all!
Roland Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 ;DWell Lerwick is in England, and the Scots still want Berwick on tee. The Scots own Northampton till the 'Northampton Agreement' back in 1300 odd. Yeah I think the Scots would love to see some good pigeons.... even if they were English lol ;D
