I'd be in favour with an increase in price if they printed a lot more colour photos in the reports, they can do it for the adverts.

Not too fussed about the increase - Everything has to go up.

 

The one really annoying thing for me is i have two good friends who work at the printers of the BHW and for 6 months one has been promising to get me it on the Wednesday but it aint materialised yet.

65p is nothing compared to weekley magazines in the newsagant, some £2+

Wonder what the actual income is from the adverts anyone ever added up from one weeks copy what they would be getting in

 

that would be the job of an anorak counting the income from adverts , but it is read by 56,000 people thats alot of dosh where does it all go , yup dinners banquets photo opertunitys but not grass roots supporting the members of the Union

92 pages of adverts. If you just take an average of say half page costs about £86.00. Some are full pages and some are bits and pieces so the half page is a midway point.

 

So 92 x 86=£7,912 in renenue for this weeks copy from advertisers.

cost £1.20 for my sunday paper and 55p for my daily paper and it aint as intresting as my bhw

I buy my BHW and RP to read about Pigeons etc - i flick through anything that looks like its more politics than pigeon.

 

 

when i buy the homing world i want to read about peoples methods old articles like varations on a theme by ken evitts teesider not page upon page of results and glossy ball sh** adds.
