did thay used to have it on boxing day years ago.

this race is open to members of pentland hills including traprain E.O.S  members within traprain boundary and midlothian federations

with prizemoney and pool money this race has prooved a great success for many years now, and a lot of doubters wrong the total pools and prizemoney is staggering , many thousands of pounds , as a matter of interest the temp last xmas race was higher than the first actual fed race in april   good luck to all who enter

Just as a point of interest how do the birds that race in this cold weather fly for the following season.

not long now  this is a hard race to train for as i have found out all lofts going to this race have lost birds training some hawked some just cant take the cold rain snow wind etc etc.on the other hand it does not stop us to all of you taking part good luck and the tricks we play on our birds for this is something to be hold the race was won last year with 2 late breeds from louella
