Why not, at the end of the day there will be winning strains, bloodlines and fanciers that do the very same as here in the UK, America is so vast they will have pigeons that cope with distance, sprint and various climate conditions although theirs is a lot more regular :-/

Do the members think that American pigeons could do the business in Scottish pigeon racing.short, middle, long distance.
:Pin all honesty , if i were you ,id go for Scottish pigeons at whatever distance applicable , more ready to hand than American birds anyway ????                                   andy.

PATTY BHOY if your interested in American pigeons and the way to race them go to this link http://www.pigeonradio.com/pr/ on the left you'll see archives of previous broadcasts. Perhaps you will be better able to judge yourself hearing it from the horses mouth so to speak. For what my opinion is worth many Americans go more for pedigree pigeons than performance pigeons, many strains are kept pure and are in the main Belg/Dutch imports.
