b.massey Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I priced a petron loft at 24ft x 8ft with corridor and avairy on end. Was £7,995. Never took it but sometimes wish I did as loft of a life time
superstar Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I know someone who is selling a 36'x9' petron built loft and is open to offers way below those regions so plenty of bargains to be had out there
Larry Lucas Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 This is the loft I am building as part of my shop expansion. The loft is accessed from within the shop and is 8' X 20' with four sections. The shop itself is 20' X 22'. The entire building is 20' X 30'. The cost for modifying the shop to include the new loft including boxes will be less than $1,000 USD for the materials. The labor (mine) is free. $6.25 a square foot for the loft, not bad.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Thought myself that the Petron loft at Blackpool was out shone by the John Tranter Loft. Although there all very good including the 2 lofts above.
mattrakes Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I got a new 18 x 6 John Tranter loft just before Blackpool and it is superb, better than anything I have seen on offer from any of the other manufacturers, and having got the quotes it was nowhere as expensive as some. Top man Jamie who makes them.
Guest asha Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Doesn`t matter what the price is,same old story, hardly any soffit whatsoever, poor building practise yet again,no rain water goods,no excuse for this poor design, really just to look pretty, and the makers happy to let the buyer have huge problems as soon as the wet/dry weather twists and opens the usual poor grade tongue and groove, pathetic really, just a bit of thought would have made these 2 lofts acceptable.

cemetary Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I saw the loft of John Tranter a couple of years ago at Blackpool, well i couldbt believe the quality of this, and also the price, a new loft for me would be from him.
Guest joshdonlan Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 what was the prices of the Tranter lofts?
