how many youngbirds

how many youngbirds would you think i could fit in an 16x8 loft,i usually have around 50-60  as i race natural.

everyone has there own idea i think 60 to 64 would be sensable anymore you'l get a fly away lofts usualy find there own level too many you'l loose some , it all depends on how much ventilation there is and is it correct  :)

im thinking over making a 6x6 flight onto it too ,im taking down this part of my loft to accomadate this new loft..but not till the end of the year..from the white door to the fence

I think about 50 young birds in a loft that size, how many perchs have you got in the loft. you would need arround 70 to keep that amount of pigeons. they need to be happy and not to be fighting all the time . if going on the darkness you also have to think about ventilation.  bandit

ive got about 80 perches box + v perches.

they wont be going on the darkness ,i know that they will be dropping flights early without the darkness...i was gonna go on it this year but things have changed.
