fred x Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Do's any one Know if the above club is a member of the RPRA. If so Could you give me the Phone number of the club Secretary TERRY CALLAN please.
fred x Posted March 10, 2009 Author Report Posted March 10, 2009 I thing you may be right Oldyellow. We have just got a knock back from the Lottery, ( Yes Unsuccessful) be couse we are a member of the RPRA, & that Rule159. Its not that we want some thing for nothing, We have 3 of our members that are disabled, One has to get the race rubber off the bird with a hook, as he suffers with very bad Arthritis in his hands & feet. I say good luck to the clubs that have got it. But to condemn us for being a member of the RPRA. i feel it a outrage > >

Guest Vic Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Brotton, I remember Billy Napper mentioned it, when he came to our local on a few occasions. I can't remember whether he was a member. I recall that the great man was in the Easington Lane at the time. Freak was another name that cropped up frequently at the time. All good memories.
