Guest Owen Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 The only reason they are doing what they are doing is because we all let them get away with it. We all know that they are in it for the money from top to the bottem. I know that it is distastful to see the people demonstrating. And there is no doubt that the idiots who are there to cause trouble are not helping. But we really have to get to grips with our responsiblity. Nuff sed 4 now.

Craig05 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Just a thought! if everyone stayed away from the two largest suppliers of Petrol/Diesel in the UK i.e Esso and BP (example) and refused to purchase from them they would have little choice but to drop their prices to get people back onto their forcourts. now with the power of the web the idea could get to millions in the UK within no time and if all pulled together Esso and BP would see their sales drop like a ton of bricks and would be forced into dropping prices to increase sales. as soon as they drop their prices other suppliers (which we continued to use while boycotting Esso and BP) would have to follow suit to keep up with the competitors. oh happy days! like i said, just a thought
