Hi Ian, please find enclosed the details of our donated bird to your charity sale: Sire: 1st North Section, 75th Open SNFC Falaise, 602 miles. 2nd Club, 9th Fed Hastings, 470 miles, as a yearling, beaten by a loftmate. Dam: 1st North Section, 50th Open SNFC Liege, 570 miles. This is a special mating for this worthwhile cause, bred from two section winners from around 600 miles. These birds have topped the Aberdeen Federation on a regular basis. John & Kevin then went on to win the North section in the SNFC Newbury race with "Ellies Girl". they then Won 2nd Section in the young bird National with "Birthday Boy" , these two pigeons have been paired together and one of the youngsters will be given for this worthy cause another young bird will be given to make a terrific pair of youngsters to start you off on a winning way. Try buying these pigeons now they will cost you a fortune if you can find them? Thanks to John & Kevin Elliott Bros Ps Kevin has been responsible for most of the birds in these two sales. Ian was related to George Ritchie and he has the best of Ritchie & Whyte birds in his loft He was asked by Bob Whyte to donate a bird you do not get a better recomendation than that. Thanks Ian

Ian McKay Posted March 21, 2009 Author Report Posted March 21, 2009 Another cracker this time from Johnny Williamson The bird is named Night shift John is a member of the Mastrick R P C. This bird flew in the Falaise race 2006 with the SNFC and was duplicated into the Federation race. The bird was timed at 05.34.52 in the morning flying 580mls.1016yds with a velocity of 1179.18 Winning 1st Aberdeen Federation 1st Section G and 9th OPEN in the SNFC flying club I understand the bird a Blue Chequer Cock also won £225 50 for its owner. It was bred by John from two birds borrowed from George Smith from the Aberdeen and District club. George purchased the Sire and Dam from Joe Pazdziorek an ex fancier from the Stonehaven HC. I am sure when Joe gets this news he will be delighted as will George. I hope to have more on this birds recent performances soon. A young bird from above The eggs are 3 days old Thank John Ian

Harry flies in the SNRPC now and has always concentrated on long distance racing. Alan is a top class pigeon fancier and above that a thoroughly decent and nice guy, a real ambassador for pigeon fanciers in the North of Scotland. Paul.

Its been such a positive thread and highlights what is so great about the fancy, i hope we can keep it in such a positive manner The messages have been removed for the admin's assesement.
