Well I'm a little glad I shalln't be racing this week - end.

May is plenty early enough for me. Keeps me out of daft averages and don't lose or upset the birds in these weahers.

I believe that any and All racing shouldn't start till May any way. Further, espeacially with the longer (later) Summers could well finish the y/b in early October.

Hi Roland, the weathers gone downhill over the past ten/twenty years.April is more like Feb/Mar.The end of April early May is soon enough to start racing but convincing the powers that be is another thing.Lindsay

i think raceing should be when the weather warms up a bit as there is still quite a chill in the air and birds dont like it

Well John, will certainly set them back a bit for the following weeks.

Yearlings hate bad weather, especially any East in Wind. Further, they thrive and are far better for the sun on their backs.... Good luck to you.

Me, if I was to send, would just do as a few season ole pros do.... and odd Old cock bird or hen. Justr to have a little fun, and keep the averages open like.
