Roland Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 And so ended another thread.... :-/ Any way the Race controller is the first in line for the fanciers excuse. Nothing more, nothing less ... One they are able to actually vent the disappointment at in losing birds. In the main these Race Controllers are also Pigeon fanciers, and want the best for their birds same as any and everyone else. They spend time effort and money, get up real early and phone up and down the line of flight, and or any flight it may be. Then often have to sit for hours aside a phone for any updates, and pass on the info to All concerned. Then cause Jack Splott has about as much realism as a chocolate tea pot, and relies on a 'Whim and Prayer' believe as every one else sent it must be ok, the race controller has choice word uttered at him, which are in the main incorrect and out of order. Be far better to discover how and why pigeons home for starters I guess :-/ Certainly not because of a bad race does one automatically spout that the 'Race controller should and even DID know better. These very same ones are the very ones that often had spouted that they aren’t capable, don't know enough, and haven't the time etc. and had far far better things to do on a Saturday morning brigade- and turn down the chance to do it. Indeed they often spout what a great and marvellous Race Controller *expletive removed* would make when trying to persuade *expletive removed* to take the job on The turn like jackals upon the '*expletive removed*' first time a bad race comes up. I say 'Shame on you, and shame on them' that spout at him. And no I, nor we in the main want to hear sorry sordid details of what happen Once upon a time Leave that to Jack Anorry! JMO and those of realistic abd fair minded sportsmen.
