How many members have had BIG LOSSES this year? when there are alot of pigeon men on here telling LIES ? about the birds they have lost this year like in the last 3 races. SO TELL THE TRUTH ?

I started training 52 doos this year and tonight i had 27 in the loft but a few casualties in amongst them and 4 away tae Eastbourne aswell

Forgot to say of those 27 5 dont race but are in the old bird loft ;)

ALF how many did you lose last year down the west and how many birds did you race.

where do you think these birds have been lost,is it because of weather conditions or our friends the raptors.

Last year i lost about the same up to now but i didnae go to any SNFC races last apart from Alencon but we'll see how it goes but i'll tell you this i ain't sending my doos doon the west route again so count that oot :P :P :P :P :P

wakefield 22/25,newbury 7/10 and leicester 18/19, these 3 races are over 240mls and having been racing for over 35 years would say that these returns are more than reasonable,got a yearling from leicester today and was very happy too see it. :);)

John unless somebody has moved Wakefield it cannae be anymare than 190-195 mls to you mate ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D

alf i am just reading my b h w and i notice the great wee man from uddingston who won the sec in the snfc newbury who is training out of crawford has the sky  to him self hes lost more birds raceing than hes lost from training.hes the best pound for pound flyer in the fed the now.

Seen him last night at the SNFC marking and shook his hand to congratulate him he is having a great season so he is ;) But who would you say is leading the fed average right now? I think it's close between him and big Alec Mcinnes ;) but who is in the lead just now? maybe big Alec  :-/

not kidding anybody on i brought ten birds with me from my old loft broke them then bred from them got birds from friends

so this is the first year i could really test them because i was always stopping my birds due to lack of numbers

i don't keep a lot of pigeons so i want to keep quality rather than quantity

 

although i did breed and buy young birds this year i have 56 young birds this year that hopefully will go to every race

and maybe some to the youngbird national touch wood

over the last 12 years i have raced 1996-1998 west

                                                    1999-2003 east

                                                     2004-2008 west

                                                      2008------- east

                                                      i have to say my best racers and best racing have been from what we call the east route. :) :) :);)

Not knowing too many up that way, who'sthe wee man from Uddington ?

alec a friend of mine told me that there are 90 birds lost in the last 3 races  over there the alotments are lookin more like a grave yard. ;)
