bluewhiteflight Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 hi i ordered some electrolytes from a company last week but they are having problems getting them despatched and i need them as i want to get them into the water whilst its hot before saturdays race, what i want to know is will human consumption electrolytes available from local chemists be ok as an alternative thanks
Novice Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 I would have thought that any grain merchant in your area would have pigeon electrolytes. I think those available from the chemist for human consumption should be ok.---not the use of should.
fletch Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 i use dyrolites if i cant get old of electrolytes as it is basically the same thing, and does the same job
greenlands Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Boots Chemist.Rehydrate £5.a tub or there abouts.
bluewhiteflight Posted June 29, 2009 Author Report Posted June 29, 2009 when do you put electrolytes in , i used to put them in from return from a race but would you put them in before a race in this heat
fletch Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 if they have had a hard race dad will put it in or if the young birds have had a hard training toss and spent plenty of time on the wing. it is only really used as a pick up, but a good one
blackdog Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 put them in every day while this hot weather is here, it will do more good than bad.
