they certainly dont look happy are they in a glass cabinet or is that on the camera lense

I did buy a few birds from there around 2001; other than one yearling hen, I lost them all on their first time out [let out one at a time]. Wondered at time if homing 'instinct' was actually a skill that could be lost over time if successive prisoner generations didn't get to practice it?

must lose it i had my hen in for a year and  it escaped never to be seen again only been gone a day but it isnt looking good

what do you expect, they will have been paired in dec and bred from until june/july with every egg possible taken from them!

you don't mind taking a chance if a gift bird or the price is right but not at the pricethey ask

Old timers always said - especially when I first starter up - every generation of unraced birds lose a bit more of the homing instinc.  :-/ Inbreed may well cock it up but their instinc to home when out crossed only, will never lessen. Maybe the zest to race , but  :-/

i had some yeraling vandenbosh that only ever were in avery from babys still have one but he wont fly with kit its as if he is afaid of the sky tears inbetwwen the buildings but no higher

what a boost he did  if you had been with us pete we visited 2 cracking guys in the midlands with out of the world stock birds and great hospatality  what agreat few hour we spent with these guys then went to 2 small studs in numbers but not quality  and all birds in perfect health   if any one ever near scarboro  go to Frank Sheaders  you want to see and handle

unc  winners   nat winners  unbelievable  then look at his distance family  off barcelona birds galour  mouth watering  nothing hidden  handle and see  and we will go back to all four to buy  quality and healthy  perfect  and also not liverpool supporters  lol

glad you got sorted in the end mate its a bummer when things like that happen  ,if you bought any i think one should be named rafa in honour of the best manager in the premiership lol

mate we both come back with birds 1 a gift  and some i bought and David was the same bought and got gifts  great time and massa can stick his where the sun dont shine  because he done us a favour  and i will be going down shortly for more happy times  are here to stay
