Did a dove release today,20 miles away very windy against them but all back safe

Took my 26 older y/b's to Abbington this afternoon and they took exactly an hour and 23 of the 26 landed together and 2 about 5 mins later and 1 still missing when i left :-/ But the 2 that landed late landed right in the park from training not on the loft so i'll give them another chance but if it happens again they'll never do it another time :X :X :X

took 3 out today these 3 have never been tossed but have been let out to loft fly i took two van reet crosses and one white dove or white pigeon the two van reets came home but not the white do i let them go at 9.30 this morning at about 5 miles away

Just off to give the youngsters a 20mile toss, back to where they were on Monday, where I dropped 6 :-/ quite a nice morning here in Fife, however I believe the rain is coming in at lunch time

 

What a toss that turned out to be, took 3hours for a team of 20 to drop, then for the remainder of the day right up untill 8pm, they have been coming 1 at a time, still 3 to come. Believe it will do them no harm to find their way home alone :-/  38 home from 41 sent
