Guest spin cycle Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 does your fed charge for feed on holdovers ? if so how much a bird ? i worked it out today our fed charge 5p per bird so thats around £440 per 25kg must admit i never thought of it like that....but i still don't think 5p is bad. i do wonder what they feed....just for interests sake.
Guest milkyal Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 It tells you in NRCC rule book, if you race NRCC that is
JAS Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Why not get someone to sponser the feed then wont cost anything. You pay your birdage that should be it.
Guest spin cycle Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 It tells you in NRCC rule book, if you race NRCC that is can see 'when' they feed but not 'what'
THE FIFER Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 thought most organisations had sponsors for feeding,
ALF Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 thought most organisations had sponsors for feeding, I think they have in Scotland Archie :-/
just ask me Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 does your fed charge for feed on holdovers ? if so how much a bird ? i worked it out today our fed charge 5p per bird so thats around £440 per 25kg wouldn't the boys on lorry have to paid as well :-/
pjc Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 5p per bird isn't a lot for somebody to take care of your bird. most fed transporters have a driver and convoyer both of which will need paying, also if trailer the unit pulling the trailer may be hired on a daily rate!
Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 work out what it costs for you to feed water and look after a pigeon for 1 day bet it costs more than 5p so your saving money
knoxjn Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 if you start pennypinching with something like that you could be in bother with birds not getting the care they need how many holdovers do you get in a season anyway never be able to understand pigeon men if i live to be a hundred
